MN Housing LTH and HPH Reporting Deadline Extended

On Sunday, October 1, 2023, state and federal HMIS data standard changes went live. ICA is updating all reports to reflect these changes and this process may interfere with the initial reporting deadline. Therefore, MN Housing is extending the reporting deadline. Read on to learn more.

HMIS report submission or data verification occurs every six months for periods that cover the previous 12 months of data. Minnesota Housing funded projects with capital financing intended to serve Long-Term Homeless (LTH) and High Priority Homeless (HPH) households and the Housing Trust Fund (HTF) program rental assistance follow the federal fiscal calendar year, so one reporting period occurs mid-federal fiscal year and one occurs at the end of the fiscal year.

The report submission and data verification deadline for the period of October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023, has been extended from Wednesday, November 1, 2023, to Friday, December 1, 2023.

An eNews from MN Housing with instructions will be sent in November and include information on which LTH and HPH projects will need to submit reports to Minnesota Housing and which projects will only be responsible for verifying data is accurate and up to date. All HTF grantees from the 2021-2023 biennium will be expected to submit reports.
