Upcoming Moodle Downtime: 10/30-11/2

The MN HMIS training platform Moodle will be down for maintenance beginning Monday, October 30th, through Thursday, November 2nd. The Moodle site will be down and completely unavailable during this time.

  • If you have staff at your agency who are currently in the middle of HMIS new user training, please help us make them aware of the Moodle downtime.

  • If you are a current HMIS user and have not yet completed this year's Annual Recertification training, including on the FY24 HMIS Data Standards Changes that went live on 10/1/23, now is the time to get into Moodle to get it done! More info here: https://www.hmismn.org/fy-2024-hmis-data-standards-changes

Unlike previous years, ICA is not inactivating user accounts due to non-completion, but it is still an expectation that all HMIS users will take time to complete this year's Recertification training. Since the 2023 training content went live in Moodle on September 26th, we've only had about 22% of current users complete the training so far. Last year we got to a 90% completion rate, so we've got some work to do. Come on folks, we can do it!

If you are struggling to login to Moodle, there is a password self-reset function on the home page located below the “Log in” button. Click on the words “Lost password?” and follow the prompts on the site. If that does not work, please email the MN HMIS Helpdesk.
