Upcoming State Data Element Changes - Effective July 1

As announced in the April 27 MN HMIS Newsletter, there will be one change to the MN Universal Data Elements, which will go into effect on July 1, 2017.

• Leave any of these? The question will remain a MN Universal Data Element, but it will be reduced to a single question focused on the last three months.

All data collection forms for HMIS projects will be updated on our website to reflect this change by June 26, 2017. As a reminder, you can find data collection forms here. Though the paper forms will be available before July 1, 2017, the changes do not go into effect until the day of July 1, so please continue to collect and enter all required data into HMIS until the end of the day on June 30th, 2017.Looking ahead, we will also have HUD/Federal data element changes that will go into effective October 1, 2017. We will send communication when those are finalized.
