Required 2022 Recertification Training for all Current Users Coming Soon!

If you are a current Minnesota HMIS user or supervise MN HMIS users, please read this email - A required virtual training for all users is coming your way in September!

Last year, ICA MN launched an annual Data Privacy & Security recertification for all HMIS users in our state, to better align us with both HUD’s requirements of System Administrators, and with the MN HMIS Governing Board’s policies as well.

This year, once again every HMIS user is required to complete an annual Data Privacy & Security recertification training by October 4th to keep your access to HMIS active. This training will count as recertification for 2022 and will be a requirement annually going forward.

All required training content and resources will be available for users to access beginning Tuesday, September 6th.

To prepare for this training requirement, please hold 30 minutes on your calendar sometime between Tuesday, September 6th and Tuesday, October 4th. This will allow enough time to grab a cup of coffee, watch the required training content, and complete a short quiz.

Before September 6th, please review your email address on file in Community Services (ServicePoint) as soon as possible, to ensure that it is correct and up to date. (instructions here)

The ICA project team will be releasing more details soon about how to access the required training. Stay tuned for more information coming in the next newsletter!
