QDQ: The Clock is ticking, but there is still time!

The Quarterly Data Quality (QDQ) process for Quarter 3 of the Federal Fiscal Year 2020 is moving to its conclusion. Currently we have a 17% participation rate, and we want to hear from you.

As of today, agencies are running, or have run, their Quarterly Data Quality reports and they are resolving the errors. The final QDQ reports should be run and submitted to the QDQ Portal by 11:59 PM Thursday, 12 November. The original deadline has been extended one day to accommodate the Veterans’ Day holiday on 11 November.

Don’t Despair, Repair!
We encourage projects to submit scores to show engagement with the process, even if you have not yet found a rhythm at your agency for data correction. If you are running short on time, try to triage your corrections. Focus on the lower scores first. In your submission, you can note in the narrative text box how you will work to improve your scores for future submissions!

Helpdesk will continue to be available to you through the submission deadline; however, some reporting and data entry issues may go beyond what we can solve before the deadline. If that is the case, we will let you know and you can also add that information to your narrative.

Here are the things that you should know for this quarter.

Your data from July 1 to September 30 should be entered in HMIS now and you should be running your QDQ Reports.

Remember, you can run one report with multiple providers. This can save you time when running reports. If you have more than ten providers, you can have a Reporting Group made for your agency that contains all the providers you need. Click here to contact Helpdesk if you would like a Reporting Group made for your agency.

ICA suggests running the QDQ report in Excel. When you have multiple providers, you can then easily filter your Excel report for each provider when data clean-up is needed.

One clarification that should be noted regarding the providers that should be included in QDQ reporting: any agency with a provider whose project type is Other is encouraged to, but not required to, submit scores for QDQ.

As always, use the Data Corrections section of the Knowledge Base or contact Helpdesk with your QDQ questions. Click here to access the Knowledge Base Data Corrections section.
