It’s That Time Again – Minnesota Data Standards Changes!

In 2019, there will be two new Minnesota Universal Data Elements (MNUDEs) and changes to two current MN UDEs. These additions and changes to MNUDEs will have an impact on all clients, regardless of funding type.

The new MN UDEs are:

• County Where Resides

• Domestic Violence question series

The MN UDEs with changes are:

• Institutional History

• Foster Care

You will need to update the records of clients who have an active enrollment on 7/1/2019. Clients that have exited your program(s) prior to7/1/2019 do not need their records updated to include the new dataelements.
