ART is Retiring 🥳: Reporting Tool Shutdown Coming August 11th
The time has finally come: WellSky, the HMIS software vendor, has announced that it will be taking ART offline at noon on Wednesday, August 11th. On the night prior to ART’s retirement, ICA is anticipating that a software upgrade will replace the “Connect to ART” link with a “Connect to BusinessObjects” link, and that any additional links to ART will be removed from HMIS. We are not expecting that there will be system downtime as a result of these changes.
How does this impact upcoming reporting deadlines?
Great question! Because the August 11th shutdown date is non-negotiable, the Quarterly Data Quality (QDQ) deadline is being extended to August 18th. To assist users with their QDQ submissions and the DHS OEO HYA and THP reports due on August 15th, ICA has increased its helpdesk capacity through the 18th. However, we recommend that users with an upcoming deadline complete their reporting as soon as possible to minimize any disruption that the transition to BusinessObjects may cause.
How can I prepare for ART’s retirement?
Reports saved in your ART inbox will not be transferred to the new reporting tool. If it is important to preserve those reports, you will want to save them in a secure location outside of HMIS.
ICA recommends that users begin familiarizing themselves with BusinessObjects. To help with that process, we have created the following resources:
