Thank You for Making the COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Equity Monitoring Project Possible!

As efforts to ensure the COVID-19 vaccine reaches people experiencing homelessness continue, our partners in the recent HMIS data matching project shared this message about the impact of HMIS on their efforts:

“These data have been instrumental to the state and local public health in identifying gaps in vaccination. Numerous federal agencies (HUD, CDC) have reached out because they are impressed with the work and see it as a model for the rest of the country. In addition, we've been able to generate important estimates of comorbidities among people experiencing homelessness.”

As part of this work, ICA provides up-to-date HMIS data to our public health partners monthly. Thank you for the work you do to ensure the services you provide to people experiencing homelessness, and the characteristics of those people, are documented in HMIS.
