Join the Racial Equity and Data Disparities Committee of the HMIS Governing Board!
As we announced in our Annual Meeting closeout letter, the HMIS Governing Board created a new Racial Equity and Data Disparities Committee to guide its future work around diversity, equity, and inclusion. This Committee’s goals include:
Provide guidance to the HMIS Governing Board to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in HMIS leadership and decision making.
Provide guidance to stakeholders related to HMIS data collection and the use of HMIS data through a lens of equity and antiracism.
Identify needed capacity for the HMIS Governing Board to continue data and disparities work.
The Racial Equity and Data Disparities Committee is seeking 2-3 new members to join our efforts in 2021! We meet virtually from 1-2pm on the third Friday of each month.
