HMIS Governing Board News

The HMIS Governing Board is holding officer elections for its Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary positions at its March 12th meeting. The Chair and Vice-Chair positions will be filled by one of the nine board members, whereas the Secretary position is open to all interested applicants.  Please email Justin Vorbach (JustinV@swmhp.org) as soon as possible if you are interested in being considered for the position of Board Secretary.The Board is also welcoming new members starting in April:

• At-large: Colnese Hendon (The Salvation Army-Harbor Light Center) will take the seat currently held by Kathy Berg Hanson (The Salvation Army).
  • A sincere thank you to all who applied for this position, many of whom will engage with Board Committees moving forward.
• Greater Minnesota CoCs: Jennifer Prins (Southeast CoC) will take the seat currently held by Carla Solem (Northwest and West Central CoCs).
• Metro CoCs: Loni Aadalen (Ramsey County CoC) will take the seat currently held by Mark Herzfeld (Ramsey County CoC).

Cathy ten Broeke will serve a second term as one of the three State representatives on the Board.The Board wishes to thank the outgoing members - Carla Solem, Kathy Berg Hanson, and Mark Herzfeld - for their dedication, leadership, and time during this formative period for Minnesota’s HMIS.
