Help from the Helpdesk: Passwords and How to Reset Them
Oftentimes when we receive requests for password resets, it is after a user has tried to reset it themselves. The issue is that when users do this, they frequently don’t receive the automated email link to reset their password. This leads to multiple reset attempts, while users are waiting to do important work!
Because the self reset function doesn’t work reliably, it is best to email the Helpdesk directly to have your password reset. Our helpdesk team responds to these requests quickly, as it’s a fast fix on our end. This will make it easier to log in so you’re not waiting around for a reset link. Please note: password resets are only valid for 12 hours before they expire.
