DEADLINE EXTENSION: Required Recertification Training for All Users

The revised and final deadline for the 2022 Data Privacy & Security Certification training required for all current HMIS users has now been extended to October 18th, 2022!

Your HMIS license will be inactivated if you have not completed the training requirement in Moodle by the end-of-day on Tuesday, October 18th, until such time as training is completed. (Please note that Moodle often writes this date in the British/European format as "4/10/22").

  • NOTE: Any user who completed their MN HMIS general new user training and was setup in the live site after August 1st, 2022 will NOT be required to complete the 2022 Recertification!

If you cannot remember your password, Moodle has a password self-reset function on its log-in page (here), located right below the “Log in” button. Click on the words “Forgotten your username and password?” and follow the prompts on the site. Please email the MN HMIS Helpdesk if you are having trouble receiving the password reset email from Moodle.

Once you have completed both requirements, you should see a green bar notification on your Moodle Dashboard telling you that the "MN Annual Data Privacy and Security Certification is completed.” Once you see this green bar, there is no other action for you to take! ICA staff will track user completion in Moodle, so don’t worry about submitting anything else!

Any other training programs you see on your Moodle Dashboard are regular HMIS user training content, which is simply there for you to access anytime you'd like, whenever you need to refresh your HMIS skills.
