Branding Changes Coming to ServicePoint... or is it Community Services?

WellSky, our HMIS software vendor, is slowly starting to roll out a significant branding change to the database we currently all know as ServicePoint. The new name is changing to... drum roll... 

Community Services 

The first transition is a small one. Starting September 4th, when you log into HMIS you will notice that the small logo in the upper left-hand corner of your screen will have changed accordingly:

You will still see instances of the ServicePoint logo throughout other areas of the site, including on the main login screen, for now. WellSky will slowly be rolling out updates across the database itself and all their written materials and we will keep everyone apprised as we learn more about the specific timeline of these changes. If you are on any of WellSky’s mailing lists, you may have already noticed that they already refer to “Community Services” rather than ServicePoint in their communications. 

Along with this, ICA will also have to update all references to ServicePoint across our written and recorded materials. This is going to take a while!! Since this branding change doesn’t impact the functionality of the database nor any of the content of our existing materials, this will not be a rushed process.  

That said, over the coming months and well into 2022, expect to hear the terms “ServicePoint” and “Community Services” used interchangeably. Feel free to start saying Community Services yourself, but don’t worry if ServicePoint is still in your muscle memory. As WellSky supplies more firm timing details for this full transition, we will make sure to keep our community in the loop!
