Attending the 2019 HMIS Annual Meeting? Find More Details and Registration Information Here.

The 2019 HMIS Annual Meeting is only a week away! We look forward to engaging with our HMIS stakeholders on Monday, October 21st from 9 - 11am and discussing the highlights from the previous year and what's coming in the year ahead. If you're attending in person at DHS Lafayette, you can find the invitation with the meeting location and a map with parking information on the Annual Meetings page of our website.

Haven't registered to attend yet? There's still time! In-person registration is full, but you can still register here to attend via GoToWebinar.

What will be discussed at the Annual Meeting?

To learn more about the topics that will be covered at this year's Annual Meeting, please see the agenda here. On the agenda you can also find the discussion questions that we will be asking throughout the meeting, so please take a look and come prepared to share your feedback during the meeting.

The Board will also be discussing proposed changes to the Governing Board Bylaws at the Annual Meeting, such as modifying language to be more inclusive and gender-neutral, clarifying the terms of membership for At Large and End User/Agency Board seats, and establishing a process for replacing a member mid-term. You can find the Bylaws with the proposed changes here.

How will we be engaging with meeting attendees?

This year, we're using a feedback platform called Mentimeter that will allow us to engage both in-person and remote attendees in the same way and to see the results in real time! We'll use Mentimeter for both the discussion questions during the meeting and for the post-meeting survey. If you've never used Mentimeter before, you can access it from a web browser on any computer or smartphone - there's nothing that you need to install or download. You'll simply need to enter the code from the Annual Meeting agenda or presentation slide and then you'll be able to see and respond to discussion questions. You can watch an overview of Mentimeter here or try a practice Menti here (scroll to "Try out live voting").
