Upcoming User Training Pause & Downtime!

What’s happening?

The Minnesota HMIS User Training will be put on pause and will be unavailable from November 16th through November 30th while scheduled maintenance is performed on the ServicePoint Training site, and we prepare to launch the redesigned HMIS User Training content and process on December 1st, 2020.

How will this affect users?

If you are currently participating in HMIS User Training or are thinking of starting, you must complete your entire training by Friday, November 13th.

Beginning on Tuesday, December 1st, anyone registering for training will be starting with the newly redesigned training content and process, including any users who were registered for the old training but did not complete it by November 13th and will be required to start over again on the new platform.

Can you say more about the redesigned training?

Absolutely! In case you missed our previous newsletter article announcing the news, please check it out by clicking: HERE.

In December, ICA MN’s HMIS User Training will be moving to a new learning platform called Moodle. We are excited about this change because it means that users will have ongoing access to comprehensive courses and bite-sized lessons and activities, with lots of brand new content. A big thanks goes out to our cohort of volunteer testers for giving Moodle a spin!

Questions?

If you are an existing agency in HMIS, and are in the process of setting up additional project providers for new funding, remember that any new users who will be doing data entry can start and go through HMIS User Training anytime, and do not need to wait until your new provider is set-up.

If you have any other questions or concerns about the HMIS User Training pause and downtime, please email the Helpdesk.
