User Training

HMIS User Training

***User training registration for Minnesota's HMIS is temporarily CLOSED, owing to the ongoing HMIS software transition from WellSky Community Services to Eccovia ClientTrack. The go-live date for the new HMIS is July 1, 2024, after which user training will be available once more. For more information on the software transition, including the reasoning behind the temporary user training pause, visit our the Software Transition page.***

Many organizations should be able to respond to this temporary limitation through adjustments to staff responsibilities; for others, we recognize this could stall operations. To that end, we are building in flexibility for the following possible exceptions to this training registration pause going forward:

  1. When the only user at an agency leaves and needs to be replaced.

  2. For high-volume Emergency Shelters, Diversion, Street Outreach, or other projects with high staff turnover, or where HMIS is used for live/real-time data entry, where the ability to serve clients would be greatly impeded.

In the above situations, ICA will offer limited training for new users through an alternative process. However, we will need help from the direct supervisors and peers of any new staff for whom we make exceptions.

If you need to register a staff member for HMIS User Training right now, and believe you meet one of the exception requirements above, please email the Helpdesk at MNHMIS@icalliances.org and let us know which of the exception criteria outlined above applies to your situation.
