HMIS Governing Board Seeks At-Large Member

The Minnesota Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Governing Board is seeking applicants for one open seat, which is the At-Large Member.  The membership term will be April 1, 2018 through March 30, 2020. Though not required, the At-Large Member-elect would be encouraged to attend the March 12, 2018 Governing Board meeting to observe the outgoing At-Large member’s role and participation in the meeting.

Governing Board Meetings may be joined in person (444 Lafayette Road, St. Paul, 55101) or remotely from any county in Minnesota via ITV.  The Board consists of nine members.  Members are expected to participate in the two-hour monthly Governing Board meeting and also serve on one of the four Board committees.  Please see the HMIS Governing Board web page for more information.

Applications can be completed at this link.  The deadline for application submission is midnight of Monday, February 5.  You may contact any of the Board Members with questions or clarification; their contact information can be found at this link.

Selection of the 2018-2020 HMIS Governing Board At-Large member will take place at the February 12 Governing Board meeting.  This meeting is from 9:30 – 11:30 at 444 Lafayette in St. Paul or via county ITV.  All are welcome, including applicants, to join this meeting to give input and vote for the next HMIS Governing Board At-Large Member.  If you are interested in joining that meeting email by February 5 and you will receive information about applicants in advance.

All applicants will be informed of the election results by the end of the day on February 12, 2018.
