Are you interested in helping the HMIS Governing Board communicate and engage with HMIS users? Do you have ideas for increasing awareness about HMIS within Minnesota? We encourage you to join the Communications Committee of the HMIS Governing Board!
The HMIS Communications Committee provides overall communication to HMIS users and the general public about the impact that HMIS has in Minnesota. Its purpose is to communicate the goals of the HMIS Governing Board and to develop and update communication tools for the community, including the HMIS website, social media, annual user survey, publications, and press releases. In response to participant feedback from the Annual Meeting, the Communications Committee will be identifying and implementing ways to increase communication between the Governing Board and HMIS users in 2019. We will also be looking for new ways to highlight the importance of HMIS and how it supports the work of preventing and ending homelessness. Meetings are held monthly on the second Thursday of the month from 10-11 AM via GoToMeeting and are open to anyone.
